On February 20, Hoag celebrated a meaningful milestone at the Sun Family Campus in Irvine with the dedication of the mwPolar Foods Dining Room, located within the Du Family Hospital Pavilion. The intimate gathering brought together the Chiu family, the family behind the mwPolar food company, friends, and Hoag leaders to honor Frederick Chiu’s generous gift toward Hoag’s Irvine expansion.
The dining room serves as a central hub within the pavilion, welcoming patients, families, visitors, and staff to share meals and moments of connection in a bright, inviting space. Its warm, community-focused atmosphere reflects both the Chiu family’s passion for food and Hoag’s commitment to wellness and healing through nourishing cuisine.
As the Sun Family Campus continues to expand, spaces like the mwPolar Foods Dining Room illustrate the impact of donor support in creating environments that enhance the patient, visitor, and staff experience.
