President, Hoag Hospital Foundation

“Community partnership is ingrained in Hoag’s culture.”

The visionary community leaders who partnered with the greater community to open the original Hoag Hospital in 1952, changed the trajectory of community health in Orange County. Their history-making achievement set the foundation for unprecedented access to outstanding health care in our region. Since that time, through an extraordinary six-decade partnership with the communities we serve, Hoag has evolved into an exceptional Orange County asset.

From the Hoag Family Foundation’s initial leadership gift to build the original Hoag Hospital, community support has impacted every subsequent improvement, expansion and acquisition. In the truest sense, community partnership is ingrained in Hoag’s culture. Today and going forward, philanthropy remains critical in Hoag’s ability to provide the highest quality care to our community and to lead the way in health care advancements.

The vision for Hoag’s future is one in which we increase local access to cutting-edge medicine, expand our footprint throughout the region and become a destination for health care innovation. Once again, we invite the community to partner with us in Hoag’s next transformation to ensure health care excellence for patients and their families.
