Hoag’s comprehensive program includes dedicated nurse navigators who assist patients through every aspect of a complicated diagnosis. Hoag Digestive Health Institute’s dietitians work with patients to achieve and maintain optimum health. This includes providing a tailored nutrition intervention plan that incorporates the patient’s clinical data, nutritional intake, socioeconomics and lifestyle to ensure a feasible and nutritionally adequate plan to manage GI symptoms and optimize quality of life.
