Support Groups

More than 1,400 volunteers participate in foundation sponsored events and committees. The oldest and largest of Hoag's volunteer groups is the 552 Club, which to date has raised $37 million for Hoag. With the support of its dedicated members, the club organizes well-known annual events such as the Toshiba Classic, Stag Shoot, Movie Screening, and Christmas Carol Ball.

Circle 1000 was founded in 1987 to help build and support a state-of-the-art facility at Hoag Hospital for cancer treatment, prevention and awareness. Since that time, Circle l000 members raised over $8 million for the hospital.

These volunteer groups demonstrate the widespread local support that Hoag has enjoyed throughout the years. They are a continual reminder that it's the people in the community who contribute their energy and resources to ensure that Hoag continues delivering medical care that is second to none.
