Stroke, dementia, depression, and other nervous system disorders rarely happen in isolation. Rather, often it is the father with a brain tumor who may also develop depression and anxiety while the grandmother who had a stroke now has trouble balancing and swallowing. As our community ages, such complex neurological cases will require an approach that is patient-centered and coordinated across traditional disciplinary divides.

Hoag Hospital Foundation (HHF) has committed to playing a significant role in the development of the Hoag Neurosciences Institute.
