Transformational Naming

$15 Million – Hoag Neurosciences Institute
This vision of Hoag Neurosciences will manifest into a healthcare model that defines excellence in the care of nervous system disorders. Medical specialists from a variety of fields will collaborate and be guided by the goal of providing patients with coordinated, centralized care and recovery from the full range of neurological disorders. Within the newly designated Neuroscience Institute building on Hoag’s lower campus, patients will find standardized approaches to patient evaluation and treatment outcomes that are rigorously developed and regularly monitored.

Thanks to growing partnerships with physicians and local universities, Hoag Neurosciences has begun a research program that will benefit our patients and community.
Facilities and Technology
Intra-Operative MRI Hybrid Suite $10 million
The IntraOperative MRI will allow physicians to perform complex neurosurgery using real-time imaging information without leaving the operating suite.
Advanced Neuroscience Care Center $2 million
Consolidated neurological care for Hoag’s inpatients on the 9th floor of the West Tower will allow for better coordinated, more patient-focused care.
Hoag Sleep Center $2 million
Hoag is significantly investing in relocating the Sleep Center and in expanding its services to reach the undiagnosed and undertreated members of our community. The Sleep Center will move to 510 Superior Ave. in 12 to 14 months.
Hoag Voice and Swallowing Center $1 million
Hoag offers specialized care for patients with voice and swallowing disorders. Services include cutting-edge diagnostic technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of voice and swallowing problems.
