Hoag Neurosciences Center
Every act, thought, gesture, memory, and expression that distinguishes us depends on brain function. When healthy neurological activity is disrupted, the familiar can become unfamiliar, and how we recognize ourselves, each other, and the world around us is affected. Neurological disorders can strike at any age, but as the population ages, diagnosing, managing, and treating these conditions becomes vitally important.
Hoag Hospital is meeting this growing need through well established programs and major expansion in the clinical neurosciences. The Hoag Neurosciences Center will be the most comprehensive neurosciences program in Orange County providing prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management for stroke, brain tumors, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and mind-body disorders. This integrated care will be housed in over 30,000 sq. ft. of Hoag’s lower campus and will feature a full suite of dedicated care, imaging, and support.
Patient-centered care, multidisciplinary team approaches, integrated technology, and recognition of the interconnectedness of many neurological disorders will distinguish the Hoag Neurosciences Center and help ensure that members of our community receive the finest care possible without leaving the area. We encourage you to discover how your time, energy, and resources can benefit the Hoag Neurosciences Center.
