Leading Edge Technology
Diagnostic and interventional technologies are powerful tools in the fight against the most damaging and life-threatening conditions. Early diagnosis can delay the progression of diseases and brings much greater odds for their treatment and cure. This delay can mean an extended higher quality of life for both patients and their families.
The advantages of employing state-of-the-art technology are clear. In addition to earlier diagnosis and more complete treatment options, hospitals armed with leading edge technology are able to attract clinical trials that can offer new levels of hope for healing. Building on its tradition of providing patients with the latest technology, Hoag Hospital is developing the Advanced Technology Pavilion (ATP) – the area’s most sophisticated patient-centered site for advanced imaging and treatment.
When complete, the ATP will house breakthrough technology for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders and cancer. Flanked on either side by the new Hoag Neurosciences Center and the expanded Hoag Cancer Center, the ATP will also provide ease of access for patients when it is needed most. Earlier diagnosis, more effective treatment, and patient-centered care will be aided in large measure by the technological innovation found within the ATP.
To find out more about the Advanced Technology Pavilion, please contact Kenya Beckmann, Campaign Director, at 949-764-6384 or Kenya.Beckmann@hoaghospital.org.
