Hoag Hospital has a reputation for attracting the very best physicians, nurses, and staff. The expansion plans outlined in Renaissance Hoag will require a major effort to identify, recruit and retain the best people in the world. There is a tremendous demand for the top medical people and it is anticipated recruitment will be very competitive. To accomplish this goal, a major effort is underway to generate endowments for leadership positions with a special focus on physician directors, nurses, and clinical/research fellows. These endowed chairs and fellowships are important to our success and provide an excellent opportunity for a donor to make a perpetual impact at Hoag Cancer Center and patients throughout the community.
