All non-profit hospitals are required to provide charity care. Hoag does that and much more. We are committed to our role as stewards of community health and well-being. At the same time, we are aware that the most vulnerable among us have the greatest challenges in accessing care. That’s why the Hoag Department of Community Health (HDCH) provides vital services that would otherwise be unavailable to underserved populations.
The community built Hoag. The community has helped shape it into what it is today. The community’s support will determine what Hoag grows into tomorrow.
