Hoag Facilities

To better serve the diverse and growing community, Hoag has transformed itself in recent years from a Newport Beach-centric hospital campus to a community based healthcare system with two acute-care hospitals, five urgent care centers and seven health centers throughout Orange County.

Hoag Hospital Newport Beach (498 beds), which has served Orange County since 1952, and Hoag Hospital Irvine (154 beds), which opened in 2010, are designated Magnet hospitals by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Within Hoag Hospital Irvine but with a dedicated entrance, the 70-bed Hoag Orthopedic Institute focuses on inpatient adult reconstruction and trauma care.
