Q: May I apply for a grant from Hoag Hospital Foundation?
A: Hoag Hospital Foundation is not a grant-making foundation. We are chartered to raise funds specifically to support the programs and projects of Hoag Hospital. Q: But I know that Hoag supports Share OurSelves and other community organizations. How is that different?
A: Hoag Hospital returns a generous portion of its operating revenues to the community by making grants through its Department of Community Medicine. Those grants are funded by the Hospital, not by Hoag Hospital Foundation.
Q: May I direct my gift to a specific department or program in the hospital?
A: Yes. You may direct your gift to any of the areas listed in the drop-down menu in the on-line page on this site. If the area you wish to support is not included in that list, please call us at (949) 764-7217 for additional information.

A: The Foundation offices are located "down the hill" on the Pacific Coast Highway side of the hospital campus. We are in Hoag Conference Center (building 44) on the third floor in Suite 300. Please stop by; we look forward to meeting you.
