Philanthropy represents the highest level of commitment to the “greater good” and at Hoag Hospital Foundation we are so very fortunate to have a community of donors providing transformational support.
In every decade of Hoag’s history the community has partnered with the hospital to support its growth and change and today is no exception.
In 2007 we launched a 10 year effort called Renaissance Hoag that will help transform Hoag from a successful community hospital into a medical enterprise of recognized signifance. Already we are seeing how philanthropy is playing an important role in each of our Centers of Excellence and we encourage you to read about these advancements in the pages of our website.
We have key new medical leadership in place, new specialists in many areas and the latest technology has been deployed. We have opened the Mary and Dick Allen Diabetes Center at Hoag Health Center Newport Beach along with several other expanded out-patient services and are planning the opening of a second hospital campus in Irvine.
In less that three years we have surpassed $100 million towards our $315 million goal and are confident in our ability to achieve our ultimate target. Thank you to all the leaders who make this success possible and to the individuals who are providing a level of outstanding support.
