Need for the Facility Expansion
Aging demographics are expected to drive increases in cancer cases in the coming years. In order to meet this demand and provide the best patient care, Hoag Hospital needs to expand the existing facility. Renaissance Hoag calls for the addition of 40,000 square feet of outpatient laboratory space. This construction will enlarge and modernize cancer outpatient treatment facilities, expand radiation oncology, allow for relocation of key technologies, and expand areas for complementary and supportive care.
This expansion will also be a key component in the recruitment and retention of top physicians, nurses, technicians, researchers, and staff.
