The Allen Center is housed in over 7,000 sq. ft. at the Hoag Health Center Newport Beach complex and adjacent to the CHOC outpatient subspecialty clinic. Patients and their families will avoid traveling long distances between the specialists required for successful diabetes care through access to the comprehensive and multidisciplinary services at the Center. Clinicians and other health care providers and educators will have a unique opportunity for collaborative, multidisciplinary care, education and professional training.

Innovative design and technology make the Allen Center an important health resource for our community. Designed to facilitate individual and group education both at the Center and beyond, the Center leads Hoag Hospital’s adoption of an electronic health record (EHR). EHR supports better patient outcomes and promotes effective use of care resources. EHR provides patients and their caregivers access to all the information required for efficient and outstanding care.
